C. Who will be my party entertainer?
All our entertainers are skilled performers, with accredited training experience. All have undergone a thorough training by Pick 'n' Mix and have been CRB checked. They are bright, young, talented and responsible.

D. What happens after I have booked the party?
To confirm the party, please return the booking forms along with a signed copy of the terms and conditions. Once received, we will call you to take a £50 deposit and post a confirmation letter detailing all the information we have discussed. Well before the date you wish to send out invitations, we will post them to you along with the envelopes, so you can give to your guests. Five days prior to the party, we will call you to re-confirm all the details and the balance of the party will be due. Finally, a couple of days after the party, we will contact you to see how it went.

E. Where can I have the party?
We can entertain in almost any space, whether at your home, or hired venue. We only ask that the space is suitable for the number of guests to move freely and without hazards or distractions. Balloons placed outside your party venue are always a helpful way for entertainers to find you easily on the day.

F. How long will the party last?
Most of our parties last between 1 hour - 2 1/2 half hours - ultimately it's your choice! We recommend 2 hours minimum for our 'star' parties and 1 hour maximum for 4 year olds and under. Many hostesses prefer the entertainer to stay during the children's 'tea' to keep them interested with stories and props, and then playing more games until the end of the party. For the create your own parties, they can last as long as you wish, subject to discussion with Pick 'n' Mix.

G. Tips for a Perfect Party:
1. We recommend that distractions are removed from the party area such as balloons, people chatting etc. so the children's imaginations can be utterly stimulated by the entertainer.
2. We recommend that parents refrain from watching the activities as it can make the children self conscious, particularly for the 'star' parties when children want to 'surprise' parents with their end of party show. We love parents to stay and join in for the 3's and under parties, but for older children, the perfect party comes from total immersion in the theme.
3. If you can, try to keep numbers to the recommended maximum of up to 20 for the Themed Parties and up to 15 for the Star Parties. We cater for numbers over this but we find that these are the numbers which work best for a perfect party.
